Meteor Award Winners 2008

Meteor Awards was on TV last night, a mish mash of crap acts and great talent.
It was fantastic to see Cathy Davey get Best Irish Female, she should have won best album but that hobbit Casey won it. Other Highlights of the night include Ray Foley - Best DJ.He deserves it, gets me through the 12 - 2 slump on today fm.
Also Radiohead getting International band(sweet!) & another highlight for me was the two performance awards, Blizzards (oxegen) Muse (oxegen) and I saw both performances(sweet!).
Downside of the night = Boyzone are back and as bad as ever. Oh god please do us a favour and rid Ireland of this horrid nightmare of a band. Its a pity Limerick band "We should be dead" didn’t pick up the newcomer award, but at least they got some media coverage.
