To Treasure & Keep

I have recently been trawling through the ages of music archives, and every once in awhile you will come across an album to treasure & keep.

One such album is that of Stephen Stills - Just Roll Tape. First the background to finding this gem, I was listening to alot of Neil young due to the re release of live at Massey hall, then that brought me to his classic albums which then went on to Crosby,Stills,Nash and Young's "Deja Vu" album, Anyway to cut a long story short, this album is when Still was working on an album for Judy Collins in a studio on the 26th April, 1968 and after the rehersal he literal said "Just Roll Tape" and rehearsed new songs of his post Buffalo Springfield's demise and some of these songs then went on to reappear on Crosby,Stills and Nash albums.

This collection lets you listen to a singer songwriter at his raw Early stage and makes you appreciate his music all the more. Stills, A guitar, a studio, years of skill and a catalogue of music any artist would aspire too. It is truly a superb listen.
